EASY STREET Acoustic Swing was formed in the summer of 2003 at the request of Southampton City Council for quality music in their shopping precinct.  Since then the band has proved very popular for weddings, indoor parties, garden parties, corporate events, festivals, jazz clubs, cruises and even, on one occasion, a funeral!

The usual line up consists of two acoustic guitars, a double bass and a clarinet doubling saxophone.  Because the band is totally acoustic, there is no need for cables or amplifiers.  The musicians are able to play virtually anywhere, provided they and their instruments are protected from inclement weather.  They can relocate at a moment’s notice and, of course, the volume of their music will never interfere with conversation.  However should you need more volume, perhaps for dancing, a PA can be provided.
